Drama

Dance is used in and a musical because it makes the movie more dramatic and people use it to further plot development they also establish a character. On Hair spray, they introduce themself with a musical dance or something musical it is also so some actors can get some kind of movement experience.

Research Work (Stan Walker)

I wanted to do the research work instead of the performance work because I can't play an instrument at all and I don't think I can learn an instrument in a few days even just to play a few chords. I choose to research Stan Walker because when I looked at the list of the artist in NZ the only person I recognized was Stan Walker so I just choose Stan Walker. Something interesting I found out about Stan Walker was that he has been to 3 high schools well growing up. I am happy with my project because usually, people would do a lot of slides but instead, I just made 2 slides 1 with information about Stan Walker and the other full of pictures of Stan Walker. This semester I enjoyed trying to learn how to play an instrument and playing around with different types of instruments too I would've really like to learn how to play the drums but 3 people already choose to learn how to do the drums. Only 2 to 3 people can learn how to play the drums because there is only 1 set of drums so I left it to learn how to play the guitar but I didn't get enough time because lockdown and when it was over I couldn't be bothered to continue learning how to play the guitar.

Drama

Today in drama we have been learning to do this silent movie but we couldn't talk we just had to go with this music that was playing in the background. So we had to get to groups of 4 or 5 no less than 3 the props were cowboy hats, guns (fake), shovel, piano, and two cups. The people in my group are Kaedun, Josh, Alex, and I in this play me and Kaedun died because the bartender Alex got us drunk then shot us. When we died we found out that Alex was working with Josh the robber he stole Tyler's shovel that he uses to dig for gold. As Josh was leaving the bar he gave Kaedun a good slap on the butt he left the bar.

Music

The instrument I have chosen is a guitar the reason I have chosen this instrument is that I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar but never had the chance to. So now that I do I would like to learn how to play it, I also love the sound of the guitar a song I would love to learn how to play would have to be Rude by magic.

Science (Cow Eye Dissection)

Aim: To look at a cow eye and the main parts of the eye.

Equipment:

1. Scissors
2. Tweezers
3. Cow eye
4. Gloves

Method:

Remove the tissue first the first cut is around the cornea. Split the eyeball in half get rid of the retina to see the optic nerve.

NZ Goverment compare and contrast paragraph

In power to the people hurumanu, we learned about the Maori authority system and the British settler government system. In NZ there were two types of governments one was the Maori authority system the other one was the British settler system. Rahui was when activity was stopped for a while- e.g. you couldn't swim, or fish were someone had drowned. There no courts, judge's police, or prisons. Whereas the British settlers system is when people were responsible for the whole of the society there were set punishments dor breaking laws. This matters because it's important to know the laws before and now if we are learning about the NZ government.

Music

Both ukulele and guitar are from the same family of stringed instruments. The guitar is a much bigger size than a ukulele, a guitar has 6 strings and a ukulele has 4 strings the ukulele is also thinner and shorter than a guitar. The country that uses the most ukulele is Australia and other countries that use ukulele are. Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Thailand, France, Singapore, and Italy these countries use ukulele the most. Ukulele orchestra is a group of people in Great Britan that is an orchestra but they use ukulele.
