Climate Change

 What is the greenhouse effect?

The greenhouse effect is a process that happens when the gases in the earths atmosphere traps the suns heat, this process makes earth much warmer than it would be without an atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is one of the thing that makes earth a comfortable place to live. It's also warming the earths surface and the air above it, that's caused by the gases in the air that trap energy from the sun. These heat-trapping gases are called greenhouse gases, the most common greenhouse gases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane.

What are 3 bad things/consequences?

  • Climate change by trapping in the heat.
  • Extreme weather.
  • Food supply disruptions.
Possible solution?
There a lot of possible solutions to fixing the greenhouse effect, here are a few ways to stop the greenhouse effect. Using renewable things and other climate-friendly energy resources, examples include rooftop solar  panels, solar water heating, and small-scale wind generation.

What is the Paris agreement?
The Paris agreement is the legally binding international treaty on climate change, it was adopted by 196 parties at COP 21 in Paris. On 12 December 2015 and entered into force on 4 November 2016, it's a goal to limit global warming to well below 2 preferably 1.5 degrees Celsius.
