- If a team goes out of bounds it is hand over.
- The taniwha scores points by throwing the ball at the barrel
- Three touches before hand over.
- If you do a jump shot the ball has to leave your hand before you touch ground.
- There can only 2-3 people in the middle guarding.
- If taniwha scores the play carry on.
